A New Zealand Shearing Championships junior finalist, he grew up on a sheep and beef farm and still milks regularly on his sister’s farm in the Manawatu. With skin in the game, he has an association with some of the country’s leading thoroughbred studs, including Waikato Stud.
Hamish is well known for his stellar TV career with TV3, presenting numerous sports roles. He is often seen MCing corporate events throughout the country in both rural and urban environments.
